Honors/Awards
- 2004-2005,
Outstanding Academic Advisor, University of Missouri-Rolla
- 2005, Faculty Excellence Award, University of Missouri-Rolla
- 2004,
Best Paper, Symposium on the Application of Geophysics to Environmental And Engineering Problems.
Title of Paper: Relationaship between biodegradation and bulk electrical conductivity.
Research Interests
- Biogeophysics-investigating the effects of geomicrobiology/biogeochemical processes on geophysical properties
- Near surface geophysics-application of electrical resistivity/induced polarization, electromagnetic, ground penetrating rada, gravity and magnetic methods to contaminant studies, water resources exploration/management, geohazards, and engineering problems
- Tectonophysics-geophysics applied to rift kinematics during incipient stages of rifting, Achaean plate tectonics, Achaean basements, and basins of continental interiors.
