PIs Tracy Quan, Jim Puckette, Ahmed Ismail, Ashley Burkett, Toni Ivey (School of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Sciences) recently had their proposal “Developing a Water Research, Assessment, and Networking Ecosystem (WRANE) for Informal Geoscience Instruction on Water Resources” funded through the National Science Foundation Improving Undergraduate STEM Education:

Pathways into the Earth, Ocean, Polar, and Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences (GEOPAths) program. The grant awarded $313,959 over 3 years to establish out-of-school-time groups for high school and community college students to learn about water-related geoscience concepts, participate in lab and field research, and investigate geoscience careers.
